our services to you

You're planning a conference, a stakeholder meeting, board away-day or employee briefing. Wondering how best to deliver an event that hits the spot, delivering the positive experience, tone & results you need.

Are such events normally times where your people converse, connect, contribute their skills, share ideas and create the future?

Or where dull familiarity, stale repetition and boredom prevails?

What about venue, content, design of process & securing speakers?

How will you keep everyone interested and on board?

When you need people to meet, connect and engage, the ethos group has the expertise to help make it happen. Events shaped by Ethos are typically vibrant, interesting and often inspiring.

Because people enjoy them, they give freely of their ideas, intelligence and skills, resulting in high quality outcomes that demonstrate increased understanding and commitment.

The ethos group believes informal meetings are the life-blood of organisational life and integral to change, yet often overlooked. Maybe your weekly team meetings could be far more positive, creative and productive too?

If you'd like your people to talk and think more deeply and creatively about the issues facing your organisation, the ethos group has the expertise to help you make it happen.

Conference design and delivery

Conferences, events and meetings take place in the context of organisational life, sometimes triggered by specific circumstances, opportunities or initiatives.

It's important to understand the broader context and journey you're taking. In focusing on the specific event we work with you to identify aims, objectives, the intended look, tone and feel, delegates' experience plus task and product outcomes.

We'll help you envisage what success looks like. We'll then propose a structure, processes, facilitation techniques and options to make it happen.

We'll work with you to implement the delivery plan but the extent of our contribution is up to you: we'll source venues, speakers, facilitators and make event management arrangements, or collaborate with you to deliver.

Meetings, conversation and culture

The ethos group believes meetings are the lifeblood of the organisation. Your ongoing team meetings, board meetings, departmental reviews, 'townhall meetings', formal and informal conversations.

Are they all they might be?

Coaching, learning and development programmes that focus on meeting and joint-working skills can help you capitalise on the intelligence, talent and enthusiasm of your people, resulting in ways of working that are more effective, sustainable and productive.

'One way to think about change, is that the way to change a culture is to change the conversations'.

Peter Block

'Managing in the new economy requires not just change programs but a changed mindset. Conversations are the way workers discover what they know, share it with their colleagues, and in the process create new knowledge for the organisation. In the new economy, conversations are the most important form of work'.

Harvard Business Review, Alan Webber
